The Fall 2020 CS 452 Senior Software Engineering Project student team consists of five students. Four students are from the Computer Science program and one student from the Art department who is completing their internship based on this project. KALB is sponsoring the project for this semester, students worked with KALB in the Spring 2020 semester to create a prototype of a website redesign. The students in the Fall 2020 semester will have a focus on four different areas (1) to redeisng the KALB website to the specifications of the project sponsor and incorporate features that the sponsor liked from the prototypes; (2) the students will conduct a security analysis based on the Open Web Application Security Project to make sure that the redesign of their website will NOT leave KALB easily vulnerable to cyberattacks; (3) the students will also conduct an accessibility analysis of the website through the use of the WAVE tool provided by WebAim, this analysis will evaluation the site to be sure that there are not aspects that would hinder anyone who has to use any specialized tools or equipment to be able to view the website; lastly (4) the team will also be designing flyers and/or posters for the events that KALB hold throughout the year. Specifics of the project will be included in the Statement of Work which must be agreed upon by Prof. Maxwell, the students, and most importantly the sponsor of the project. By the end of Fall 2020 the students will have a re-designed website for KALB.
