Boston Explorers is an urban camp for youth around Boston. During a summer session, the camp toured Northeastern's campus, which familiarized youth with Northeastern's campus and provided many students with their first exposure to a college campus. The tour stretched from Ruggles Station through many popular campus spots, including Centennial Common, and ended with an inside look at Northeastern's Matthews Arena.

The summer, the Street Litigators Academy were able to facilitate their mock trial at the Northeastern School of Law's Moot Courtroom, through a partnership between Madison Park Development Corporation's (MPDC) youth workforce program and the Office of City and Community Engagement.
Street Litigators Academy is a series of interactive workshops designed to empower young people to think and advocate like lawyers. Throughout the series, participants will learn how to analyze legal documents, prepare for a mock trial, and advocate their position in a compelling manner. At the end of the series, participants will have engaged in stimulating discussions, litigated a real legal case and sharpened their critical-thinking skills.

What is Breakfast Club?
Northeastern clubs, organizations and students complete neighborhood cleanups in Mission Hill and Fenway on Sundays. Last semester, we had 200 volunteers! It definitely feels good to give back to our community and neighbors, and keep our streets looking great. Long-term residents have taken notice of our hard work and commitment! Northeastern students wear red and black, fill up trash bags and volunteers are treated to coffee and donuts with our off-campus student Community Ambassadors.
