The Center for Community Engagement, Multicultural Dream Center,and the Veterans Affairs Programs have collaborated on a cross-divisionalinitiative to contribute to building a culture of service at CI. Serve It Up isa year-long program that provides the CSU Channel Islands communitywith service opportunities throughout Ventura County. The initiativeinvolves signature service days created and implemented by studentleaders. Events take place off-campus at various community organizationsites. All participants engage in a day of service and learning within thelocal Ventura community.
