A student partnered with MyLLife to edit sections of a book that is a translation of the Qu'ran to prepare it for the next steps in publishing. The student was able to offer an outside perspective on how the author could best convey the messages of the scriptures to a modern and young audience along with suggestions on grammar, style, structure, and content. The author translated it from Arabic to English and changed the order of the chapters. The title was The Quran, A 21st century reading of the Last Testament in Chronological Order of Revelations.

This grant supports survivors of interpersonal violence to provide them social resources, such as finances, to meet their basic needs. Additionally, they built rapport and trust with survivors of interpersonal violence so they can be apart of their social support system and connect them to mental health resources.
